The Las Vegas Aces are returning to Las Vegas with their first-ever WNBA championship.
In front of a full house of 9,652 spectators at Mohegan Sun Arena on Sunday night, the Aces defeated the Connecticut Sun 78-71 to win the final series 3-1.
Each team shot poorly in the first half, with the Aces making just 33% of their shots and the Suns hitting 35%, for a total of 17 turnovers.
After the victory, forward A'ja Wilson stated, "Man, this is fantastic honestly." "Our crew persevered; we had tenacity."
Wilson had 11 points and 14 rebounds at the game's conclusion.
I'm not even the slightest bit concerned when your point guard is Chelsea Gray!" Wilson remarked.
