BARACK AND MICHELLE OBAMA RETURN TO THE WHITE HOUSE TO HAVE THE OFFICIAL PORTRAITS UNVEILED

Former US President Barack Obama and former First Lady Michelle Obama returned to the White House on Wednesday for the first time since they departed in 2017 for the unveiling ceremony of their official portraits.

Barack and Michelle both turned to Instagram to post photographs and personal messages from the portrait unveiling event. One of the photos from the occasion also showed them kissing.

The White House Historical Association bought and commissioned the photographs, continuing a practice begun in 1965.
