Three people were hurt in an explosion that occurred at an Aurora, Colorado, apartment building on Saturday, forcing hundreds of people to leave their homes.
The explosion occurred at the building on East Alameda Avenue on Saturday morning.
The crew "began searching for hazards upon arrival when an explosion occurred," the division stated in the tweet.
It has been difficult for many people to get their stuff back, and as of Sunday, it was still unknown when any residents will be allowed to return to the building.
The structure is shown in pictures the hearth division tweeted on Saturday with a large hole and debris all over the pavement.
The Parkside Collective, a Holland Residential-managed complex with between 300 and 400 tenants, was evacuated, and the Red Cross was assisting in the process of relocating the occupants to a shelter.
