Meghan Markle's Spotify podcast became available on Tuesday. She stated that she saw an article on famed actress Halle Berry in which Berry was asked about her feelings about being recognized as a person of mixed race.
Meghan Markle said that the experience is determined by how others treat and value her. She said that because of her darker skin tone, she was considered as a Black person rather than a mixed person.
The duchess went on to say that she believes it is really different for them since they are fair-skinned. They are not regarded the same as a Black or White woman. They are somewhere in the middle.
Meghan Markle stated that the only time in her life that she received greater attention for her race is after she began dating her husband, Prince Harry.
The Duke and Duchess of Sussex have regularly condemned the racist and sexist press that Meghan Markle has faced since she began dating Prince Harry.
