'Mork & Mindy' Creator Dale McRaven Dies  

Perfect Strangers and Mork & Mindy creator Dale McRaven passed away on September 5. He was 83.

McRaven passed away when he was at his Porter Ranch, California, residence.

The cause of his demise was lung cancer complications.

McRaven was nominated for his writing on ABC's "Mork & Mindy" for both the Writers Guild of America Awards and the Primetime Emmys.

McRaven also wrote the Bronson Pinchot and Mark Linn-Baker-starring Perfect Strangers. 150 episodes of the 8-season ABC comedy were produced.

McRaven fully stopped working in film and television in 1993 and devoted himself to wildlife and landscape photography.
