American actress Olivia Wilde, 38, has addressed rumours about her and Don't Worry, Darling co-star Florence Pugh falling out.
During the press conference for Don't Worry Child at the Venice International Film Festival, director Olivia Wilde responded to a journalist's query.
Harry Styles, Chris Pine, Gemma Chan, and Wilde were all present at the occasion. Florence Pugh, who plays Alice in the film, was not present, though.
A reporter asked Olivia about the lead actor Pugh not attending the event.
The 38-year-old replied, "Florence is a force and we are very thankful that she is able to make it tonight despite being in Dune production.
“I can’t say enough how honoured I am to have her as our lead."
Although Wilde claimed that their conflict was nothing more than "invented clickbait," the movie's star has maintained her distance by addressing or dispelling the rumours.
