Due to issues with its automated window reversing system, US electric car manufacturer Tesla has recalled almost 1.1 million electric vehicles in the US.
Some Models 32020-2021, Model Y, Model X, and Model WILL automobiles from the years 2017 through 2022 are included in the recall.
Without a good automated reversing system, closing windows might cause the driver or passenger to experience excessive force before reversing, which increases the risk of harm.
Tesla vehicles that are currently being produced have the necessary software update that configures electrically actuated windows.
At its Shanghai facility, Tesla has successfully upgraded its production lines.
The update took around nine months, according to the Shanghai government's environmental information sharing website.
