The XTURISMO hoverbike was developed by Japanese start-up AERWINS Technologies and has a 40-minute flight time and 62 mph top speed.
Thad Szott remarked, "I feel like I'm literally 15 and I just got out of Star Wars and jumped on their bike.
According to AERWINS Technologies' founder and CEO, Shuhei Komatsu, the business first produced drones and unmanned aerial vehicles.
In Japan, the hoverbike is already for sale. The XTURISMO hoverbike will be available in a smaller size in the United States starting in 2023, according to Komatsu.
Representatives for AERWIN Technologies claim that the business also intends to go public and will conduct a stock offering on the NASDAQ exchange in November.
The American version is anticipated to cost $777,000.
