Trump Seen Moving Closer to QAnon Conspiracy

Some senators are concerned about recent occasions where former US President Donald Trump appears to support the QAnon conspiracy theory.

The QAnon lines "The Storm is Coming" and "WWG1WGA" were layered on a photo of Trump wearing a Q lapel button.

Since joining and using his Truth Social internet network, Trump has promoted at least 50 different profiles that support QAnon.

Five years ago, QAnon made its internet debut on a sketchy forum.

Based on those comments, many movement members came to believe Trump is fighting a covert battle against foes in the "deep state."

Trump claimed he knew little about QAnon as president in 2020 and that he could not refute its conspiracy theory.
